Cozy restaurant, great food. It's a homey restaurant full of nooks and crannies walled with dark wood - the dining space is broken up into smaller rooms. I agree this would not be a good place for +6 or more groups - however you can have a warm and intimate meal with a friend. Today, I tried the lamburger special served on a pita bread and Greek-like salad. The burger was flavorful and a bit greasy, yet still enjoyable. I finished with the scrumptious chocolate bread pudding and pale ale ice cream - beer ice cream?! Why didn't we think of that before?! Surprisingly it was light in texture, and the beer flavor mild - it works! WDC is in the midst of a college campus - parking can be scarce, though talk of politics and social issues are not. I appreciate their philosophy of buying ingredients from smaller local farms. The prices are right for a salaried working girl, but as a coed - I would have dined here for special occasions only.
