Cheap, greasy pizza perfect after a. Cheap, greasy pizza perfect after a night of live music at The Echo next door. These giant thin slices really hit the spot. Try the Grandma Bess for something simple or the Newman for something meaty.
I officially believe in pizzas. nice thin, flavorfull crust, just the right amount of cheese and topped with all the right ingredients. if I were to make a pizza at home it would taste like this.
Best Pizza on the East Side. Our friends from New York told us about Two Boots. When we learned that they'd opened a location in our neighborhood of Echo Park we were excited to try it. We were willing to wait over an hour for the delivery and it was worth the wait!! I got "The Bird" and my husband got "The Dude". I liked his better but mine was really tasty too. Can't wait to try other flavors.
Taco trucks, beware: New York's pizza parlor chain has landed in Echo Park, serving Sicilian-style pizzas and calzones at affordable prices.. This late-night joint next door to The Echo might disappoint those looking for true New York style slices, but most pie lovers will agree that this East Coast transplant makes an excellent addition to the L.A. pizza scene. Only nine of the 12 pizza concoctions are available at any given time, but it shouldn't be too difficult to find your match. The signature pies--Earth Mother (veggies) or The Newman (sopressata and Italian sausage on a white pizza)--always make an appearance, but the best are the house specialties that mix in the flavors of New Orleans. Work your way up The Bayou Beast, a mammoth pie topped with BBQ shrimp, crawfish, andouille, jalapenos, and mozzarella. Southern comfort, indeed.
