We had a leak from the AC system to the ceiling of our rental house. Our warranty company hired House Pro on our behalf. The technician came to the house for inspection even though the problem was previously explained along with the way of payment which should be directly to the warranty company , he asked for extra charges for the services and refused to fix the problem when he was told that no money will be provided to him directly, he left without fixing anything and stop answering his phone. My husband contacted the warranty company and confirmed that our understanding is correct and we shouldn't pay him anything. All of the sudden, my husband received a phone call from him claiming he went back to the house and he fixed the problem, he asked again for money and again when my husband told him the payment will be proceed through the warranty company he didnâ??t want to provide him with an answer if this problem had been fixed and hanged up on him. Now our tenant is complaining that the water is still dripping.
We have had House Pro install 3 air conditioner units on two seperate occasions. I would give them 5 stars on their timeliness, knowlegable crews, cleaning up and willingness to go beyond the actual job just to make things perfect. We had some rooms that were not cooling as well as they should have been. Murry studied the problem, and suggested that his crews could move some ducts and put two thermostats in different places, and - amazing, - we have the perfect air conditioning, and for such a minimal cost! The air conditioner units he recommended were the perfect sizes for our needs, and his price was the best we found in Houston. Use this company! Susan P.
Murray Kaiman and his technicians are all very friendly, courtesy, and was respectful of my home. It's not the most comfortable situation to have strangers in your homes, but it's fine with this company they came out and did a great job of installing a new A/C system and I am very happy with their work. Stay away from these people. They are there to take advantage of customers. They showed up at my house. Indicated coils needed cleaning and the charge was going to be $200.Now they say that the service is $470, and as they did not want to start the job without a credit card on file they have already charged me without approval. As the system did not improve, they returned just to indicate that the equipment is small for the size of the house. How come they did not diagnose this from the start? STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

I have a maintenance agreement so Sergio came to my house yesterday to do the inspection on my furnace for the coming winter. He called first, arrived during the time scheduled, was courteous and professional. After completion he went over with me what he had done. I would certainly recommend Sergio.
I have a maintenance program with Housepro so I called them with a problem to which they told me they could get a technician to my house in between 4pm and 8pm. I was extremely surprised and happy when Robert called me at around 1:30pm to inform me he was on his way to my home. Robert was outstanding and professional in explaining everything from pricing to how my unit worked. Robert was able to replace my compressor and put in a return air for signing up on the gold maintenance package for another year. If anyone ever has a problem I will definitely recommend them to call Housepro and ask for Robert.
The entire process was great. From a repair of my A/C to improving the energy efficiency of my house. They were fair and honest and did all they could to make me happy. And they came on time as promised!!!
We required service and thru our home warranty company AHS. We received service same day and the serviceman (Sergio) fixed the issue and was very efficient. Impressed with House Pro and response to our needs.
Called on Sunday evening and was able to schedule an appt. for the next day. Showed up @ scheduled time frame and knew about the problem we had with our a/c pan filling up with water.. Quickly assessed drain clog and blew out the overflow pipe. Our technician, Thomas was very helpful, friendly and experienced.
Update!!. This company has been incompetent from the begining, I dont know how there could be some rave reviews here! I have contacted my AHS Warranty Company, I will no longer permit House Pro in my home. My last appointment with HOUSE PRO was on 9/4/13...for another AC problem from July 2013. My AC Worked for about a month and now back in August for same problem. 3 Breakers later...House Pro telling me it was Electrical problem and Electrician replacing breakers and AC worked for short time. FINALLLY...A new technician (lucky for me)with HOUSE PRO who also is certified electrician tells me the breaker is very hot and found the following... " A Voit was wired wrong on capacitor".... and only House Pro has had access to my AC since 2011. I was livid......At this point, after missing so much time from away from my office, work days and weekends waiting for repairemen for repairmen (AC and Electrical) to show up and each blaming the other for the AC failure...even being told by House Pro that all 3 breakers could have been bad breakers, even though all 3 came from different places (1 that was in my home, 1 that electrician brought with him and 1 that I bought at Home Depot). I am beyond anger with this company.. How much permanent damage has been caused to the Compressor, also could this error have cause a more severe disaster....i dont know but it scares me to death to think of it. From the original service request in 2011...when they installed a blower motor backwards and then "GAVE" me a free AC Check up later because of that error. I have to also mention....Jack with House Pro mentioned I should make sure any Electrician that comes to my home be certified. I will pursue this mess with my Home Warranty company and see what my next step is....until then do your research, and ask questions, this company is severely lacking in many areas. My experiences from 2011 with Mo were horrible, yet there are two very knowledgable repairmen named Juan and here recently David who found the problem.
This the worst company ever.They gave us hard time for a month to fix our compressor and kept on postponing while I kept waiting at home away from work on all these occasions.They don't value your time and they don't care about the customers.They are a complete fraud.Stay away from them if you want to save your money and time.
We had four different companies come in and give us a quote. Matt, our salesman, had the best idea to move our unit to our attic since we lived in a condo. No one else suggested that and sounded confident about doing it like he did. He also matched the lowest price we got on our bids which saved us a couple hundred dollars. The crew was awesome, quick and did a great job. The manager and inspector both came by to check in on them.they forgot our thermostat and was out first thing the next morning to install it. They also recommended Russo to fix our sheetrock from where our old system leaked all over the place. I'm pregnant and they made the whole process as seamless as possible. Thank you!
Horrific service, run FAST from this company! They over-promise, and under-deliver. Learn from my experience, and don't waste your money. A few of the low-lights: 1. They promised 1-day installation. They actually took 3 days over the course of a week to finish the job, and I had to call several times to get them to come finish! 2. They promised professional installation, but they left construction debris in my ductwork, and didn't get the permits required by the city! 3. They charged me $900 for a part they didn't install, and it took two months of constant calling to get a refund! 4. I got financing through HousePro, but unfortunately had already given them my credit card number. They charged my card for the full amount (BEFORE the job was even complete!) and then they charged me AGAIN through the finance company. After several months, and no response from HousePro, I had to hire an attorney to get the double-charge refunded. I called and sent a letter to Murray Kaiman, the President of HousePro, to resolve the problems professionally. He didn't care. In fact, his excuse for holding my money was that the winter is HousePro's slow season, and HousePro is short on cash! A company should NOT pay for its operations by taking money from its customers through false charges (charges for parts not installed, and double-billing for the same job). They held on to thousands of my dollars, without cause, until I threatened to sue them. Don't be the next victim! Do yourself a favor, and please use someone else.
The service repair main was very professional. He explained all phases of what was wrong and did his repairs in a very expedient manner. He was on time at the time he said he would arrive. There was no mess to clean up after he finished the work. We have not had a problem with the air conditioner since he fixed it. I would recommend him to all my friends.
