So it turns out Charles Phan of the Slanted Door actually has a thing for whiskey. And New Orleans style food and bar snacks. There are 150 whiskeys, not to mention some Southern inspired bourbon cocktails, like the Dixie with Bourbon, gum syrup, curacao, with dashes of Angostura bitters and creme de menthe served on a hand cut ice cube with lemon peel. Enjoy oysters on the half shell or try the gumbo, etouffee or fried chicken. Just remember it's the bay, not the bayou.
