The Indonesian archipelago is a cornerstone in world coffee culture, which is why it’s not surprising Indonesian native Elizabeth Lapadula was attracted to opening a coffee shop in Greenwich Village. That shop is Kopi Kopi, a spacious, airy cafe with free WiFi and seats galore. You can pop in for the usual cafe menu: lattes, americanos, and the like. Or you can think outside the box and get the specialty, the alpukat: a glass full of espresso, vanilla simple syrup, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate, and avocado.
