Chocolate Lab

Ok, so even though it’s in Dogpatch, Chocolate Lab is not the breed of stray dog waiting for adoption at the humane society. It’s a cafe from chocolatier Michael Recchiuti, with a savory menu featuring charcuterie, a cheese plate, a variety of open faced sandwiches and a rustic French cheese cake made with chèvre. There are plenty of sweets too, like Mandarin Mousse Cake, Bittersweet Chocolate Jasmine Custard, cookies, pastries and Burnt Caramel ice cream based on his legendary chocolate confection.
