ScoutCoffee is like a gasoline for people, we need it to run and without it we end up stalled in the middle of our morning commute. Now there’s a new place to get it along an oft-overlooked stretch of Virgil Avenue, where things are percolating thanks to a handful of Intelligentsia alums and jam maven Jessica Koslow of Sqirl. The G&B coffee pop up is offering rotating menu of judiciously chosen drip coffee and espresso along with breakfast and lunch items. We recommend a pour over of Heart’s Esperanza from Guatemala with a slab of thick buttery brioche toast slathered with Sqirl jam.
