Stand out items at Ba, housed in a small space on the increasingly bustling Yorke Blvd in Highland Park, include the duck fat poached mahi mahi and wild mushroom brûlée. Both are rich, upholding traditional French preparations, and expertly executed by owner/chef/ former Anthony Bourdain protégé, James Graham. Graham’s Ba, is a highly ambitious and personal project. The jack-of-all trades built the dang place practically brick-by-brick with the help of his wife, a talented sculptor and artist, responsible for Ba’s inspired interior.
