ScoutWest Hollywood's Mirabelle is older than your mom and was equally in need of a make over. The fresh interior, designed by notable innovator Thomas Schoos, looks less like a restaurant than the home of an eccentric millionaire. Bright red, mounted, synthetic horse heads, benches covered in hair, medieval lighting and a veritable explosion of knick knacks combine to tremendous effect. Also spruced up and strange: the menu, which now includes maryland blue crab hushpuppies, grilled alligator, crawfish hotlinks, and seafood charcuterie
